>> The guaranteed discharging rate at the Pagbilao Power Plant jetty is 12,000MTPD SHINC. The required arrival draft of the vessel is 13.75 meters. We dont buy on CFR basis, only FOB, except for trial cargoes using barges. We use Panamax vessels for our coal shipments.

By the way, there is a protocol for new sources. If the coal specs of the plant can be met by potential supplier, supplier has to submit a 5kg coal sample for analysis at the power plant lab.

If the results are acceptable, we will request the supplier to submit a supply proposal for a trial cargo which normally is a barge shipment. Once we agree on the commercial terms, the trial shipment will be scheduled and be subjected to combustion testing with the presence of the suppliers combustion engineer. We can only consider Panamax shipments if the results of the combustion test is successful. Attached is the sample reqt.
